About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Services Account Manager to own a portfolio of banking, insurance, and wealth management clients. This is a relationship-driven revenue role sitting at the intersection of client success and sales. You are responsible for retaining and expanding existing accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and serving as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders at regulated financial institutions.

You understand how financial services organizations buy, how they evaluate risk, and how long their procurement cycles run. You know how to navigate compliance conversations, build trust with cautious buyers, and position value in an industry where trust is everything. You are not chasing quick wins. You are building long-term revenue relationships that compound over time.

What You Will Do

  • Own a portfolio of 25 to 40 financial services accounts with full responsibility for retention, expansion, and executive relationship management
  • Conduct regular business reviews with VP and C-level contacts to align on performance, roadmap, and growth opportunities
  • Identify and qualify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and drive them through to close
  • Partner with implementation and customer success teams to ensure client health and product adoption
  • Navigate complex procurement, compliance, and legal processes common in regulated financial institutions
  • Develop account plans for tier one clients with 12-month revenue targets and stakeholder mapping
  • Maintain accurate account data, renewal timelines, and expansion pipeline in Salesforce
  • Represent client needs internally to influence product roadmap and service delivery priorities
  • Meet and exceed annual net revenue retention and expansion targets

What We Are Looking For

  • 4 to 7 years of account management or enterprise sales experience with financial services clients
  • Direct experience selling or managing accounts within banking, insurance, wealth management, or fintech
  • Proven track record of hitting net revenue retention targets above 110% and driving expansion revenue
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to hold credible conversations at the CFO, COO, and VP level
  • Familiarity with financial services regulatory environments including compliance, procurement, and data security requirements
  • Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder accounts with long renewal cycles
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and account planning methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a strong asset.
